Greetings. My name's Shawn Vincent.
I'm a director of product management at TELUS Health. We're the biggest healthcare IT company in Canada. I'm responsible for TELUS's mobile EMR, as well as TELUS's next generation electronic medical record system.
I'm a medical records geek: obsessed with solving the terrible problems facing patients and providers today. I have a particular obsession with solving the semantic interoperability problem in healthcare.
I've been writing software for over 20 years, obsessing about healthcare for the last 10.
In my spare time, I write software, enjoy amateur blacksmithing and woodworking, and raise pet goats on my farm in Almonte, Ontario, Canada.
I also maintain a (very old) web page about Medieval Occupations.
